72-Hour Intake
Submit a referral to discuss your goals, authorization, location, and support needs. Confirm provider acceptance, staffing, and a start date before relying on services.
We offer three main employment services: Employment Exploration (discovering career interests and possibilities), Employment Development (building skills and connecting with employers), and Employment Support Services (ongoing job coaching and workplace support). Each service is tailored to where you are in your employment journey.
We do both! Our employment specialists help with the full journey - from exploring what kind of work interests you, to building skills, to actively searching for jobs, to supporting you once you're employed. We work with employers throughout Minnesota who value hiring people with disabilities.
The timeline varies based on individual goals, skills, and the job market. Some people find employment within a few weeks, while others may take several months of skill-building first. We focus on finding the right fit rather than rushing into any job.
Absolutely! Many of our clients are entering the workforce for the first time. Our Employment Exploration service is specifically designed to help you discover your interests and abilities, even without prior work experience.
This is a common concern, and we help you navigate it. Many people can work and still maintain their benefits through programs like Medicaid Buy-In and PASS plans. Our employment specialists can connect you with benefits counseling to understand your specific situation.
